Medtrics is the next evolution in medical education technology. A modern cloud based Graduate and Undergraduate Medical Education management and collaboration platform that was founded by and created for physicians. What makes Medtrics Lab unique is our obsession with usability and user experience. We have leveraged our experience in medical education to create an institutional level platform that not only simplifies workflow and saves time, but is also fun to use.

Clinical Team & Advisors

Santhosh founded Medtrics Lab in 2013 with a goal of simplifying technology used by physicians in training. He leads the design and development of Medtrics platform in collaboration with a diverse team of clinical advisors. He is very passionate about user experience design and creating products that improve healthcare. He is a Diagnostic Radiology resident physician at Geisinger Medical Center and completed a Transitional Year program at UHS Wilson Medical Center. Prior to medicine he has a background in applied mathematics, software design, and was the co-founder of the non-profit Urban Humanitarian Projects.
Ravi attended medical school at SUNY Downstate where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Brown University where he served as the Chief Medical Resident, Faculty, and Associate Program Director. Ravi currently serves as the Program Director of the residency program and Vice Chairman for the Department of Medicine at NYU Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Gupta serves as a reviewer for ACP’s MKSAP program and the American Journal of Medicine.
Mel Ona is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who is currently completing his gastroenterology fellowship at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. He completed his residency at Lutheran Healthcare (now NYU Lutheran Medical Center ) where he served as the Chief Resident and as teaching faculty. Mel has accomplished much outside of medicine – he has a black belt in Jeet Kune Do, black belt in Eskrima, and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has written several blooks on fitness, plays 5 instruments, and is an operatic singer.
Adityo is a founder of Medtrics Lab with Santhosh and was instrumental in getting the project off the ground. He has a long background in management consulting and finance. Prior to Medtrics Lab, he helped develop the metrics program at a social venture capital fund which was later acquired. Adityo is a graduate of Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Richy has an extensive background in business development and currently serves as Vice President of Sales at IT Asset Management Group and Innovate PC. Prior to his career in technology, Richy graduated from Molloy College School of Nursing.
