How we got here.
Medtrics was founded in 2013 by Santhosh with support from Ravi and Mel, who were dealing with various challenges in managing an internal medicine residency program. With the newly implemented Next Accreditation System (NAS) from ACGME, Mel was having difficulties keeping up with all the evaluations and Ravi was buried in paperwork as a program director. Santhosh designed the first version of Medtrics to simplify the process and recruited a talented engineering team to make it a reality. Although the initial goal was to create an application for collecting evaluations, the project slowly grew into creating a full education management platform.
Over the next year Medtrics was presented at various national academic conferences and was adopted by several training programs. Chris and Rio soon joined in leadership positions, and several other physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals were added to our clinical team to expand product functionality. Medtrics continues to grow and is now an enterprise-level education management platform used by universities and medical centers to manage both classroom-based and clinical education.
