Medtrics was created to be flexible and to change with the needs of the medical education community.

Universidad Central del Caribe (UCC), located in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, sponsors graduate medical education programs accredited by the ACGME, including Internal Medicine and Family Medicine. These programs serve dozens of residents annually while preparing physicians to address the island’s diverse healthcare needs.
Coordinators and program leadership faced the challenges of paper-based evaluations, disorganized records, and time-intensive compliance tracking. Oversight across multiple specialties required a more consistent approach.
With Medtrics, UCC centralized evaluation workflows, aligned milestone reporting, and created streamlined processes for duty hours and case logs. Faculty and coordinators gained tools that reduced manual effort while providing program directors with real-time access to resident performance.
By streamlining these tasks, UCC enables faculty to devote more attention to resident education and mentoring.
