Inaccurate IRIS reports can be costly for a GME department. Since a large organization relies on multiple administrators to accurately enter this data, it is important to have a platform that is intuitive and have proper data validation tools. With Medtrics, institutional leaders provide program level administrators all the tools they need to track and confirm the accuracy of their trainees' information before it is sent to CMS.
Accurately document IRP and track all the details of a trainees medical school and GME training history in one place with built-in alerts to ensure data is accurate the first time.
Use one platform to manage the reimbursement of sponsored and visiting residents and fellows.
Medtrics was built to work with organizations of all sizes. Accurately track reimbursements for multiple programs and sites, each with role based administrative permissions.
As a trainees' work and time off schedules are entered into Medtrics, the IRIS assignment database is adjusted. Trainees' time is automatically allocated to different sponsors based on their schedule. Allocation can be as detailed as the number hours they spend at each site.
There are many data quality checks built into Medtrics, which can be run by the program or institutional leadership. This includes checking for schedule overlaps, gaps in training, sequence of dates, etc.
Robust reports are available for both institutional and program leadership. This allows departments and sites to review and confirm the cost reports before the finance department performs an edit. Initial program review of the reports prevents unnecessary back-and-forth to correct issues.
Medtrics has been used to manage over $100,000,000 in federal reimbursements to GME organizations. Keep the finance department happy with a centralized data review dashboard for all things related to IRIS. Medtrics stores IRIS reporting information separate from department data so both teams are able work without interfering with each other's operations.
