Someone said your name in a room you weren't in
Here's what they saw, and the one habit that makes it hold up in month five.
The 60-second version
You were chosen for influence, not software skill. Around month four or five adoption will stall somewhere in your corner — every champion hits it. The habit that decides the rollout is where you look first when it does: at what you can change, not at what faculty should have done. That posture is the whole course.

In this episode
Picture the meeting where your name came up. A dean or a department chair sitting with the Medtrics team, looking at 18 months of rollout, dozens of faculty, hundreds of residents, and a culture that does not change easily. They said your name. Not because you know the platform. You don't yet.
They said it because you are the person others listen to in the hallway. The one who can sit across from a tired faculty member at 4:45 on a Thursday and not get brushed off. The one who, when something stops working, walks down the hall instead of writing a memo.
Six months in, evaluations are late. You're in your program director's office.
“I told them in the kickoff meeting. I told them again at the faculty retreat. They're just not doing it.”
The outcome now belongs to someone else. You delivered a message and it failed to arrive.
“I think I missed something with Dr. Patel and Dr. Williams. I told them in a room of forty when what they needed was five minutes in their office.”
Same facts, same week. This time you're looking at what you can change.
Every episode after this one assumes take two: when adoption stalls in your corner, and around month four or five it will, the first place you look is what you can change.
“The difference between a tool that changes an institution and a tool that gathers dust is almost never the tool. It's one person who decided the outcome in their corner was theirs to own.”
Dave

Say this
Five minutes in the office of a faculty member who hasn't engaged yet
“I don't think I explained this well the first time. Before I ask you to do anything in the system, what's the part of your week this could make worse? I'd rather hear it now than find out in month five.”
